Advice Request Compatibility between Comodo Cloud Antivirus and other anti-malware?

There seems to be uncertainty about the future of CCAV features and already having doubts about their own Application Whitelisting.

For now, I think the best option for myself it to revert back to Avast Premier with custom settings, however, if I didn't own a license I would most definitely use the ZAL Premium as primary protection.

with CCAV, can you run browser in persistent sandbox, like you can with CFW?

Yeah, you can make rules for things to run isolated or not isolated.
