Norton wins.&nbsp; Out of the box, it is the superior capability.&nbsp; Yes, contrary to the prevailing winds around here -- it is holistically better than Kaspersky.Disclaimer--Of course this is at default settings -- and when you hang out here at MT... you add other products and make tweaks which change your security effectiveness profile overall.&nbsp; So having the best AV at default settings is not really a meaningful standard applicable to this crowd. The problem with Norton is the future...&nbsp; they may be sold and then who knows what will happen to the product..</blockquote>
