Hi there,
My machine has been infected with Cryptowall 3.0 and I could really use some help in removing it.
I have Kaspersky Total installed, but it seemingly missed the virus and it's ended up infecting over 16000 files (all found and listed by using the listcwall program from bleeping computer).
The first symptoms of the infection were not being able to open a spreadsheet and pop up messages appearing informing me that my machine has been infected with Cryptowall 3.0 - Photoshop has also been altered to show a image of the ransom message.
I have run several full Kaspersky scans (as requested by their support), but we are in the position now where they are saying they can't help anymore as no infections are being reported by their scans.
Obviously something is still lingering around so I want to make sure all traces of the virus are removed so no more files are infected (I understand that the files already infected are toast unless I can get the originals back using some data recovery software)
Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
I've attached a copy of the FRST.log and the Additional.log produced by the FRST tool
Thanks
Bill
