Can you please send me log file? Error logs location: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Crystal Security\3.5 Beta\Logs\
And what is the architecture of Windows XP? Is it 64-bit? Please note that .NET 3.5 is required.
Finally, you downloaded portable or installer version? Thanks in advance. :)

Error is caused by Shell integration module. Is it correct that you ticked "Shell integration" check box?

1. If yes then you should find Shell Integration.exe under the following path:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Crystal Security\3.5 Beta\

2. If yes then you right click on any executable file on your computer and there should be item called:
Analyze with Crystal Security

Anyway, I'll investigate it. ;)

  • Fixed several reported bugs
  • Updated internal database
NB! Please note that thanks to new Double-protection for internal code,
other vendors may flag it as suspicious or malware, please ignore it.

Does the Portable version have reduced functionality? -- I've seen some software vendors offer a Portable, but for added Context-Menu and Real-time Support, the full version needs to be installed. Is that the same for your product (current Beta/Stable)?

No difference.. Some users asked for installer version, so I decided to fulfill their wish. :)

Crystal Security 3.5.0.103 BETA released

Changelog
  • Added detailed reports (each vendor result) from cloud (Notification -> "Show details" button)
  • Added statistics section (overall information about monitored files, analyzed files, uplodas etc...)
  • Added different notification durations for each result
  • Fixed minor bug in detection system
  • Fixed several other minor bugs
  • Updated protection criteria ("count" replaced with "%")
  • Updated internal database

I have lot of request / questions :
Can you reduce the CPU utilization ?
Can you add an option on the notification for see in first what antivirus detect and after what antivirus don't detect ?
Will you add an HIPS (or make an standalone hips) ?
