Cynet is an American cybersecurity company for businesses.
It offers an anti-malware solution based on machine learning (NGAV), protection against attacks (JS/PowerShell, etc.), and EDR.

Cynet cannot be rated because the program does not offer an interface. It is an agent that is entirely controlled by the online dashboard.
Overall, the product performs well. Detections are good, effective, and above all, it defends itself well.
I am quite surprised that Cynet does not offer any analysis, apart from a full scan by right-clicking on the agent icon, but does not indicate what it is doing.

In terms of defense, Cynet performs well and has successfully resisted several attacks.
Unfortunately, the machine is infected, Cynet has a lot of trouble stopping certain attack techniques (you can see KVRT reporting that a process in memory is infected) and does not quarantine, but only renames the infection.

Overall, it is effective, but it is not my favorite product...

It's been kicking around for years. It was originally awarded a DHS S&T innovation of the year award and I think that was 2015? Then they got bought by BlackBerry; most of their original staff quit etc etc etc

For careful use, yes.
But I prefer Microsoft Defender, which is free.
