I had previously installed the Anniversary Update but my PC kept freezing so I had to restart my PC and now my apps got deleted so I updated my configuration.

Kaspersky is an AV while Zemana is an AM. Both detect different things. Zemana doesn't need to run necessarily either so there shouldn't be conflicts.

Zemana is a companion type product, meaning it can be run along side Anti-Virus programs. A user can either run Zemana with "realtime" enabled as a companion, or the real time can be disabled and Zemana used as a on-demand.

If i remember correctly, Zemana realtime is supposed to not react to the threat first allowing your main security to do so as to avoid conflicts.
Since you do have KIS and not KAV, i would personally advise you to only use Zemana as a on-demand "second opinion" scanner.

I had to uninstall Zemana because it consumed many of my memory..
