Zemana is a companion type product, meaning it can be run along side Anti-Virus programs. A user can either run Zemana with "realtime" enabled as a companion, or the real time can be disabled and Zemana used as a on-demand.
If i remember correctly, Zemana realtime is supposed to not react to the threat first allowing your main security to do so as to avoid conflicts.
Since you do have KIS and not KAV, i would personally advise you to only use Zemana as a on-demand "second opinion" scanner.
