Solved Deal Finder on my MAC help please

I am new to a macbook. i got it at the end of last yr.
i somehow have got deal finder and other pop ups and ad windows opening on my laptop. its been less the 24hrs it has been happening for. so i am guessing it could of came from a "free" video converter i downloaded.
if someone can help that would be awesome. this is my photoshop laptop so i really need to get it removed.
i am normally a windows girl and know windows like the back of my hand but i was told mac was better for graphic and web design

Hello Nicci. It was good to read your PUP (potentially unwanted program) was dealt with. Since I do not have a MAC, I did a search & found the following article:
