Hello Yesterday i got the delta-search virus, which infected my browsers and did the usual stuff, redirecting searches, throwing adds, etc. Thanks to a very helpful guide in this site i believe i did quite a progress in removing it. As i described above i: 1)removed delta, delta search toolbar and bundle software uninstaller from my control panel. The last on im not sure if i did it correctly cause when i clicked remove it had many options in the babylon window it popped up, clicked the one saying "remove uninstaller" hoped it was the correct. Anyway no one of the programs is shown in my control panel. 2)i removed delta search from all of my browsers, addons, extensions, i believe i didn't missed anything. Basically i followed all of the steps described in the guide in this forum. 3)Used AdwCleaner. I haven't seen anything from delta since then, not in the browsers or anywhere else. I scan my PC with Malware antibytes and Kasperky, and they don't find anything. However those 2 programs never did, even when the virus was still there. So my question is: How do i know i am safe? How do i know if the virus is really gone? My scans never showed anything, even me deleting stuff. Yes i am not seeing the redirections in the browser or the ads, but how do i know there are no proccesses runing behind all this? Have i done everything correctly? Should i use CCCleaner? Sorry if the question is strange, but i really put top priority to PC safety. Is there any chance of expereancing password losses cause of this virus? thanks in advance and also apologies if i forgot to write any information/logs in the first post.
