I would also like to ask If you have any suggestions as to how I can prevent this from happening again. Is the norton i have fine? It detected the Powelik but didnt stop it. So should i try something else? I read up on most and everyone seems to have a bad opinion about everything when it comes to security lol So without knowing much my decision on what to use would just be a shot in the dark. When all this happened i had microsoft security essentials and it got shut down and wouldnt restart. i tried to install it but it wouldnt. I havnt tried since this fix though but dont think i even want to. This ESET smart security 8 i see advertise on this site sounds good but is it? any help or suggestions are very much welcome and appreciated. [/QUOTE]
