Ok. Thats good news. Thank You!!!!

Before you go can you please tell me if these two issues are worth worrying about ?.......

I'm seeing some new process causing high cpu usage. I looked it up online to see what it is and several threads are saying its not a great thing usually causing errors on pc. Maybe you'll know more about it. Its called atibtmon.exe????

And I'm still getting multiple performance alert notifications from norton concerning host process for windows services causing high usage. Its that same c:\windows\sys32\svchost.exe

Any of these processes suspicious????

Thanks a billion!!!!!!! You are due more than just beer or beers for that matter ;) You are a godsend!

atibtmon.exe is legit process, don't worry.

Norton is probably doing its stupid alerts, so I would like to see what is it. I would like to see the picture of Norton detection.

Hi! Sorry I havent provided any photos my laptop doesnt have a memory card drive and I need to buy one. I still get those notifications at least 3 times a day regarding high usage from svchost.exe

Anyway, Im writing about another malware attack on my pc about an hour ago. So far, I havent seen or experienced any symptoms. But I just thought I'd bring it to your attention just in case.
Norton popped up another notification from Web Attack fake scan webpage 7 its an intrusion attempt. On attacking computer and URL it says malwaredetection.net

This is how the whole trojans.poweliks happened. Norton giving me a notification then it blocked it but my pc later getting infected. Should I be concerned???? or is there anything I can do to prevent these attack again???
Also, should I change my router password and all my online account passwords?? I would love to hear your recommendations on how to prevent this from happening again

THANKS!!

The Importance of Software Updating:

In order to stay protected it is
very important that you regularly update all of your software. Cybercriminals depend on the apathy of users around software updates to keep their malicious endeavor running.

Operating systems, such as Windows, and applications, such as Adobe Reader or JAVA, are used by tens of millions of computers and devices around the world, making them a huge target for cybercriminals. Downloading updates and installing them can sometimes be tedious, but the advantages you get from the updates are certainly worth it.

Recommended additional software:

TFC - to clean unneeded temporary files.

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware - to scan your system from time to time in search for malware.

Malwarebytes' Anti-Exploit - to prevent plenty of mostly exploited vulnerabilities.

McShield - to prevent infections spread by removable media.

Unchecky - to prevent from installing additional foistware, implemented in legitimate installations.

FiheHippo.com Update Checker - to keep your programs up-to-date.

Adblock - to surf the web without annoying ads!

Post-cleanup procedures:

Download DelFix by Xplode and save it to your desktop.
  • Run the tool by right click on the

icon and Run as administrator option.
  • Make sure that these ones are checked:
    • Remove disinfection tools
    • Purge system restore
    • Reset system settings
  • Push Run and wait until the tool completes his work.
  • All tools we used should be gone. Tool will create an report for you (C:\DelFix.txt)
The tool will also record healthy state of registry and make a backup using ERUNT program in %windir%\ERUNT\DelFix
Tool deletes old system restore points and create a fresh system restore point after cleaning.
