I use a VPN Service. Inorder to prevent DNS Leaks, I have set my DNS Servers to a couple of servers hosted by members of OPENNIC Project. The DNS servers are located in Singapore.
Now, when I ran a malware scan by Zemana AM, it said DNS Hack and reset the DNS ot Google DNS.
I changed the DNS Servers back to the OPENNIC ones in Singapore and ran Rogue Killer Free.
The app also reported Nameserver issue for the DNS entries in Singapore.
Why is this happening?
Afterall I have manually set the DNS to valid ones hosted by OPENNIC Project.
Any assistance would be most welcome.

I would suspect that the detection from Zemana is due to the OPENNIC DNS servers being not well known enough, resulting in the false positive detection.
