dns unlocker malware

System infected, can't solve even after system reinstall. I don't think is the router fault as i encounter the behavior on different internet connections and only on this computer.

Please help, i'm close to desperate. :)

Fix with Farbar Recovery Scan Tool

Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    FRST.gif
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
    Run as Administrator to start the tool.
    (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finished FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.

Hi there again,
Attached is the requested file. please keep in mind tha ti disabled the dns server service and the hosts file is clean as i used for local development with an iis server.

So the problem resides somewhere else then the dns cache or the hosts file.

done, yesterday all good, today firefox started again show all those nasty ads. changed the dns locally with the google dns servers, refreshed and cleared caches/temps using ccleaner, no luck.

If yesterday was chrome the hijacked browser, today is firefox...

- Uninstall Firefox (Programs and Features)

Then

Click Start, copy in search %appdata%\ Then delete folder Mozilla
Click Start, copy in search %LOCALAPPDATA%\ delete folder Mozilla

Then delete following folders:

C:\Program Files (x86)\mozilla firefox
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Maintenance Service


Restart your PC.
Then install Firefox again.

Choose the independent browser
