I don't really need all those tabs, as I have already used Labels to sort my emails, but nevertheless is not a bad idea. Any ETA on when this update will be released ?
I see that Android Police offers the Gmail APK installer for Android - http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/06/03/download-new-gmail-for-android-4-5-with-slide-out-navigation-and-brand-new-inbox/ was thinking of installing this, but I can wait a little longer.

New Gmail is being rolled out, I've got it.

Not sure about Android, but the video may have hinted it for Android 4.3(?) - Possible theory, I read elsewhere @ 00:54 - Time 4.30 (version hint).

I don't get enough emails in my Gmail so it personally won't use it, but it's a great idea in my opinion.

Don't use that, so it won't affect me!

I have used it for about a month, and didn't like how it stored pre-configured Filtered messages in the Inbox.

Disabled the feature, and it's a little creepy knowing that Gmail "knows" what kind of email it is.
