Advice Request Does anyone know what happened to Zemana?

Don`t use Zemana as their detection rates have fallen to nearly zero. Instead use one of the other mentioned alternatives

He was promising, but he was neglected by big financial problems coming from Zemana...

Just was curious to know what happened to the company. It used to be great and I am their lifetime subscriber. There have been no posts by Zemana on their Facebook page since 20 June 2021

There's iolo Malware Killer and STOPzilla AntiMalware. Both of which are rebrands of Zemana, rather than being clones. There also was MalwareFox AntiMalware, but that's been discontinued and they now promote TotalAV.

I don't recommend v3 of Zemana as it has issues with false positives. Both Malware Killer and STOPZilla AntiMalware, are still based on v2 of Zemana, but neither provide a free version.

TotalAV was pure crap & left dangerous critters invade my computer when I tried it a while back.

Last update March 2021. That says it all. D-E-A-D, but it still survives as a zombie. Word!
