Maybe one of the testers/experts can do some testing with HTTPS scanning disabled and see if extension itself can provide enough protection for web browsing.

With HTTPS scanning disabled, URLs that are not already in databases will not be detected, so probably You are missing script Heur and KSN cloud detections...
