Just saw this in Panda website

Is Panda Free now coming with Firewall ?

I just installed it and windows firewall is still on and i can't find any options for firewall on the interface of Panda

The only thing i could find is Process Monitor which monitors the URLS accessed by Processes

Sad marketing by Panda .. Just Installed and Uninstalled . There is no firewall. Only the old stupid process monitor , Back to Comodo Internet Security ,

It may not have been intentionally misleading. Someone in marketing/web management might have been careless with the details. Not surprising with some of these companies. It certainly wouldn't be the first time.

On a serious note, I dont know why someone would use Panda, it really makes me wonder.

Turning off Panda News in the settings will stop the ads.

Cause it's light, I would use it over WD anyday, I don't need the protection from either.

Because malicious PE detection is actually very decent. Only paid plans are worth. Panda Dome Free is not.

Disable Windows Defender and use nothing, it is even lighter.

Nothing wrong for an Antivirus to use Windows Filtering Platform (WFP), most probably do.
