Microsoft has made available for download a new tool aimed at detecting and resolving issues that might appear during the installation of Microsoft .NET Framework.
Made available for download on Friday as version 1.0, the new tool is available for download for free, and can be found on Softpedia as well, via the link below.
“This tool troubleshoots common issues with the setup of or with updates to Microsoft .NET Framework setup installation. Additionally, this tool tries to resolve these issues by applying known fixes or by repairing the installed product,” Microsoft explains.
The company also notes that this tool can be used to repair corrupted Microsoft .NET Framework 4 installations, including language packs.
The tool was made available with support for platform version such as Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, and Windows XP.
