Solved Downloaded a file called "install.exe". PC now locked.

@TwinHeadedEagle PLZ help....This was happening to me and i did every step on this post, but when i type _:\frst.exe it said "The subsystem needed to support the image type is not present." idk what to do did i miss a step or did i screw my pc over help me sorry for replying to you but i dont think you still look at this post

ok i typed g:\frst.exe (because it is a g drive) and then a warning popped up titled "g:\FRST.exe is not a valid Win32 appilication" i hit ok then it told me access is denied what do i do now

Download attached fixlist.txt and save it to your USB flashdrive as fixlist.txt

>> Boot into Recovery Environment


Start FRST in a similar manner to when you ran a scan earlier, but this time when it opens ....
  • Press the Fix button once and wait.
  • FRST will process fixlist.txt
  • When finished, it will produce a log fixlog.txt on your USB flashdrive.


>> Exit out of Recovery Environment and post me the log please.



Try to boot Windows normally...
