Hi,

When I went on Google chrome today there were lots of advertisement that wouldn't usually appear. After going on other websites, the page would change after a few seconds. I suspect the adware is from when I converted youtube videos on clipconverter. The website had lots of unusual advertisements and pop ups that weren't trustworthy.

I went to the uninstall option and found an unusual name Dragon Branch on the list. When I clicked to delete it, it said it was already deleted, but the problem still persisted. As a result I went on websites to help me remove the adware. I used a range of scanners but at the end the problem would still be there.

Thanks Collin

Very good.

Glad we could help.

The following will implement some post-cleanup procedures:

Download DelFix by Xplode and save it to your desktop.
  • Run the tool by right click on the
    51a5ce45263de-delfix.png
icon and Run as administrator option.
  • Make sure that these ones are checked:
    • Remove disinfection tools
    • Purge system restore
    • Reset system settings
  • Push Run and wait until the tool completes his work.
  • All tools we used should be gone. Tool will create an report for you (C:\DelFix.txt)
The tool will also record healthy state of registry and make a backup using ERUNT program in %windir%\ERUNT\DelFix
Tool deletes old system restore points and create a fresh system restore point after cleaning.
