I suggest you to install Avira Free 2015 or Panda Free Antivirus 2015.
In addition you can install MPC-HC, which is a very good and fast media player!

As stated @Jo Man free Panda is a great option. You can give a oportubnidad Crystal Security as a companion and have a great defense

Do you know this distro Linux ?. It is based on Ubuntu 14.10 it is ideal for music producer

Extensions: Add an adblocker like Ublock or Adguard + HTTPS Everywhere

Other AV Free as alternative like Avast Free or AVG Free so no troubles to continue your productive task all the time.
