Battlefield 3's Standard Edition is available for free on Origin until June 3, a 100 percent discount off its regular $19.99 price, according to the game's listing in Electronic Arts' digital storefront.



Released in October 2011, EA DICE's first-person shooter is also available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Battlefield 3's Premium Edition, which adds five expansion packs, in-game items and more to the Windows PC game, is available for $39.99.

Battlefield 3 is free as part of Origin's On the House program. Plants vs. Zombies Game of the Year edition is also available free until June 16. EA previously offered Dead Space free.

Can confirm that it works (if need it). The only downside that you may have is that you need to install the "Origin" software (something similar to Steam)...but it's from EA so it's a good software.
