To participate in the beta, your PC must meet these minimum requirements:

The open beta has launched in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands + Netherlands Antilles, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines , Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and the United States.

November 2022 Update​

Before today, this preview has been available in Australia, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand. The beta is now launching in Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Singapore, and the United States.

There’s no waitlist, and you can download immediately in those 13 countries. Worldwide, over 85 Android games are available through the Windows app that Google built. This is up from 50 in August when Google also lowered the hardware specs requirement to more mid-range PCs.

May 2023 Update​

With this expansion to Europe and New Zealand, the Play Games PC Beta is now available in 56 countries.

July 2023 Update​

This expansion took place over the past few weeks and brings the total to 121 regions.

On the content front, Google touts hundreds of games as being available, including: “Cookie Run: Kingdom, Eversoul, Summoners War, Homescapes, Evony: The King’s Return, Call of Dragons and Arknights.”

The last update today is keyboard remapping to “customize which keys you want to use as controls and match them to your gameplay preferences.” This is “available for select games on compatible devices.”
