There is a time out limit built into most all forum software and after a the max has been exceeded you have to wait.
The best thing to do on a long post is work on it in notepad or office and then copy and paste it once you are done.
Then you can edit it fairly easy to add any BBcodes via the rich text editor or the BBcode editor where needed.Any images can be inserted or uploaded also.

I was working on the benchmark results when it said that the time limit of 1440 minutes has been exceeded to edit my post. Is there a way around this?
Hey @Chromatinfish 123,
1440 minutes = 24 hours, which in most cases is more than enough time for editing a post... Trusted Members have unlimited time to edit their posts. The forum software had only a 60 minutes time limit to edit, but we've increased it to 24 hours.
If you are working on a long post (which takes more than 24 hours), you could use the "Save Draft" feature, which should keep a draft of the post for 48 hours (2 days).

Another thing is make your habitual process to edit certain post like for every 4 hours approximately to ensure any updated revisions.
