Why firewall disabled? Then, malware testing on your host PC is a really bad idea. Please enable SmartScreen, it is really important and it helps to stay more secure, and I think you have reversed the two categories real-time and on-demand softwares.
Then you have 3 antiviruses at the same time? AVG, Kaspersky and ESET? I think you should edit your thread to specify better all your configuration. And then, having no backup plan is not a very safe practice, because in case of system crashing you can also lose your important files and data.

I do manual backups for now, but thanks :)

Almost every answer is contrary to what it should be.
Obviously not taking security very seriously
Look at what he lists for On Demand: Eset, MWbytes, Kapersky, AVG, Zemana
@Jack should disqualify users from Giveaways that do
this, jmho.
If they can't take our site or passion seriously, their entry should not be
taken seriously ;)

Currently, I have all of those installed on my machine, and I can do on-demand scans with each of them. Honest :)

AVG is my real time scanner, the others are also currently installed. I can, in fact run them on demand (see my updated config with the specific products). If you want to split hairs, I can run AVG on demand as well.

PS, the giveaway posts have the rules listed. It's mentioned that winners are selected randomly. Not doing so might displease their sponsors, and may even open them up to legal trouble. Not to mention it's kinda uncool.

Cheers.

Sorry but totally wrong config:

Why firewall and OS file reputation disabled and Windows update on manual?
Real time protection Spybot SD?
Do you test malware on your host PC and no backup plan?
I am surprised no recent malware attacks!

I addressed your other questions, but honestly there's plenty of arguments against letting windows update automatically.

This can be avoided with suitable prevention measures.

Marked PC at Risk.

Tron has the most comprehensive set of cleaning tools I've ever seen (including many praised on this board).

Do you feel that Tronscript falls short for virus/malware removal, in general? I do realize that certain infections require specific other tools. However in terms of disinfecting Windows, it handles a long list of maintenance tasks nicely.

What I said had nothing to do with the Giveaway requirements, and everything to do with Jacks ability to show people the door which in and of itself would actually render you and your entry null and void ;) That seems to be a moot point now though wouldn't you say ?
I see you reigned it in, so I too shall reign it in, enjoy the site and welcome.

The giveaway rules are made by this sites staff members.
Winners are selected randomly and nobody suggested they weren't.
Vendors provide us licenses to giveaway as per our rules and guidelines and we reserve the right to ban anyone from giveaways.
Banning a member from giveaways has nothing to do with the random selection.
Suggesting legal trouble, besides being uncalled for,is not even an issue regarding our giveaways.
If you have any questions regarding our giveaways please PM @Jack @Spawn @BoraMurdar or @Exterminator and we will be glad to explain them to you as well as the terms and rules of this site.
Obviously this Security Config has gone in a different direction so the thread is closed to further replies.
