Well I did not found out what the enchancements are .
But in the different tests I was not that bad. I hope they can keep up their game. It is a nice products but the behaviour blocker seems to miss more samples than in the past.

Personally I like Emsisoft, but it seems they're not having a good time. From what I see, they're not active as they were before.

A bit off topic.... but does anyone have a link for Emsisoft deals for Christmas? ✌️
I've seen the price go up and down a little on the official site but you can get it cheaper on SerialCart which I've used a number of times. Can take a day to get the code sent through but works. Sometimes there's a giveaway posted on this forum so keep an eye out.

I am curious about the change: Enhancements to protect against the latest attack methods. Maybe it is time to test Emsisoft again ;) .
Emsisoft, as do many security software publishers, add protections against attack methods that are statistically relevant in the real world. As old methods are no longer used by attackers, some get removed while others remain. Just like file signatures from five (5) years ago might not work today. There are long term signatures and then short term signatures. The protections are updated to protect against what is observed in the current attack method bucket - which means within the past 12 to 36 months - and not everything that could potentially be encountered.

All vendors have to optimize their code otherwise they'd grow to massive sizes.
