Surf protection speed improvements.
Crash on system standby – fixed.
Crashes submitted from reports – fixed.
Slow start of GUI on Windows 7 x64 – fixed.
System freeze/tray icon update animation loop – fixed.
One more problem that may cause a delay on software startup fixed.
Crash on service component restart – fixed.
Communication problem of service with GUI components – fixed.
Application rule submission bug fixed that caused a guard freeze problem with tooltip text ”’1 KB (100%) of 1 KB uploaded…’”.

Overall this looks like a performance update.... What else can I say , this product it's very actively developed and once Emsisoft add the OA Firewall component we will have another major player in the security market......
Thanks for keeping us up-to-date guys.

yes, Jack. that is what should be done by all vendors AVs. Because users will feel disturbed due a bug (error) ,and when AVs vendors attention to it and continue to updates, for example emsisoft, users will feel comfortable to be use that product.

correct me if some of my words wrong. Thanks for keeping us up to date guys.

Update error 31 problem – fixed.
Reason of different random crashes in Security Setup Wizard found and fixed.
Minor modifications of trial and freeware mode handling.
Minor crashes reported by users – fixed.
Major memory leak in service component – fixed.
Minor bug in trial end handling – fixed.
Application rules missing bug – fixed.
All whitelist settings are unticked – fixed.
Whitelist not saved correctly – fixed.
Guard crash with corrupt path string – fixed.

Hi all,
Remember v5 it was awful, very heavy on pc taking a lot of resources. I uninstalled it and never tried it again.
Now I got an email with an offer from Emsisoft. I did not know that is v6 ready and they rebuilt it from scratch, as far as I know.
I uninstalled the ESET AV and installed the latest v. of Emsisoft.
I am impressed so far. It might stay installed for a while to see how it behaves.
