The Beta has been very stable for me, have it running with OA and on another PC alongside KIS 2013 and haven't experienced any issues. The UI interaction is definitely faster, although the tray icon still does exhibit a noticeable lag sometimes.
I haven't noticed any significant improvement in the scan times [ran 3-4 deep scans], but this has always been the case for me with the BitDefender engine. Whatever happened to the advanced caching mechanisms introduced in v6?
Another point would be the compatibility of EAM - will the move to being a more "mainstream" security application affect one of its strongest "selling" points?
Without a doubt, utilizing the power of BitDefender's AM engine would further strengthen the already impressive detection capabilities of EAM, hopefully without diminishing its quite likable corporate identity and relegating it to being just another dual-engine product using the BD SDK.
