According to my video, Emsisoft did do a great job for a free product. I will recommend it to users.
EEK has been a fantastic choice of an on-demand scanner for the past year for me. Saved a whole lot of time cleaning a bunch of badly infected systems.
 
Yes. I've been running it (The latest stable version) since last year and I've not experienced any problem whatsoever.

Does your system meets the system requirements? It doesn't show it in their site but it should be at least 512 MB of RAM. It'll be better if you have 1 GB or more. Your processor should be capable too.

i have and used all suits but i now use EmsisoftAntiMalware on windows 8
