The title says it all - which one is better and why?

I'm currently using Emsisoft Internet Security 9 beta and I really like it; not too sure how secure the firewall is etc.,

KIS is better but i do'nt choose it for 2reasons i said

Chromatinfish, I have a low-end laptop. I used KIS on it before. But I haven't noticed those problems. Yes, KIS does takes time to load at startup, but for me, it's just around 1-3 mins. I experience no freeze in UI except the bug on the application control which, I believe, was fixed.

It might be because I have a lemon or something, but Emsisoft AM is definitely lighter. However, none of them are as bad as Bitdefender, which is practically burning my CPU right now! Since I installed it, it is sitting there at 200+MB RAM with Idle Scan turned off, 500MB+ with a scan running.

Umm... I meant the performance. Protection is awesome though.

Still, lets focus on KIS vs EAM, not Bitdefender. We can start a new topic, though. PM me if you want to, but not in this thread.
