It's around 40. I am using the latest version of Antimalware only. Not internet security. May be yo are using the Internet Security version. That has firewall so it will consume more memory.

Your crash maybe do to not completely uninstalling after software. A good example would be McAfee coming preloaded on a new PC and
not using their removal tool.

No idea. I am using it with default config and privacy filter on. I have plenty of RAM so it can not be that as I have very less RAM it's using less ram.

Can you check if your memory optimization is on? I crosschecked the settings and found this option. For me it's on by default.

2gb ram? Even smartphones have that much. You need more memory and i think its silly when people talk about ram usage. Only if there is some serious memory leaks or some other problem with the software.
