Hi All,

I though Emsisoft has USB protection. But today I plugged in one of my friend's USB drive and it did nothing.

When I did right click scan it detected three High Risk item including Autorun.inf

Is anyone else facing similar issue? Strange that it does not have basic protection,

I am running windows 8.1 with Emsisoft Antimalware ( version 9.0.0.4799)

I am a big fan of emsisoft. I will check few more pen drives. If getting similar result then I have to switch my security suit. Never had such case with AVG or Avast or Qihoo TS.

It's bad if it's not detecting, having eset & mbam I also have to install USB Disk Security, though I don't let it run & manually enable it when I want to insert any else person's pen drive. Mine are virus free. While Disk Security doesn't detect card reader drive. Nothing is perfect :/

What were the detected items?

Tomorrow I reinstall my Windows, when I saw your post, I don't know which antivirus I will install on my machine :(

I am also confused now. I don't need a solid protection. If my antivirus can protect me from USB drive attacks and Web attacks them I am good. I do not install unknown software from unknown sources.

Protecting computer from USB Drive is normally protection of antivirus. It must have this feature.
