As I know Jetaudio is still supported , I think Cowon is doing fine.

And yes, sadly to hear this news for Winamp.
Winamp was the first thing that I clicked with mouse, on my friend's computer when I didn't have one a long time ago...

I had Winamp on the XP rig I'd bought for my office in '05 until that PC died at the beginning of the year. Sad to hear of Winamp's imminent demise, but I just downloaded it to have a piece of history as it passes into history.

This is truly sad, one excellent free product gone.
I have used Winamp for many years and still think it is the best.
Not only Winamp is gone but Shoutcast online services.

Many other media players depend on Winamp plugins and services because they too will be effected.

Thanks. :D

I believe WMP will have the same fate in the next few years, my current fav. a/v player.

I am not using VLC just for a couple of reasons

- is not able to shutdown PC after playback
- not able to save resync subtitle
- it's slower when seeking a hd mkv or mp4 video

i had AIMP installed , but can't remember from which site i downladed it, so i just uninstalled it, and downloading from original site...

Just found, posting from their original site about the fake

aimp2.us is a fake!
