It looks like F-Secure is thinning out the herd, simplifying things to just two apps, Internet Security and Total Security.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the standalone F-Secure ID Protection reaching its end of life after May 22nd, 2024 😢. This decision means that these products will no longer protect your devices or receive updates beyond this date.

However, we have been hard at work to ensure a smooth transition. The F-Secure app, introduced in February 2023, will replace the old product, with the transition scheduled to commence on April 24th, 2024. The best part? There's no need to worry about additional costs, as your existing subscription will seamlessly transfer to the new product, preserving any remaining duration.

So when they say they will be included in the products/apps that were introduced in Feb of 2023, this is the link included in the above notices.

Yes, you're right. F-Secure is discontinuing standalone ID Protection and Freedome VPN apps after May 22nd, 2024. However, they are ensuring a smooth transition to their new F-Secure app, which was introduced in February 2023. Your existing subscription will be transferred to the new app, so no additional costs will be incurred. The transition process is set to begin on April 24th, 2024.

We'll be fine with what we have installed. It just sounds like those with the standalone apps will have the option to migrate to the "new product" at N/C. (F-Secure user guide link in my post above). I'm not sure how long that "subscription" would last, and then they would have to renew at the IS and Total prices depending on their preference.

edit: @Oldie1950 I'm also using Internet Security for the same reasons as you.
