So I got this one year license from a PC mag that I get. Right now I am using the 30 day trial before I use my one year key that I got. All is well but I am unable to update the software.

Have anyone seen this happen before?

Hey Daniel,
I've been using ESET on 1 of my devices and I have never seen this error. You're not experiencing any connectivity issues on your PC right?
You could try to clear the Update cache, and see if this will fix the issue.
To do this, open ESET, then click on F5, that should bring up the Advanced setup menu, then select Update > General > Clear Update Cache > OK

All my other software are working fine (Steam, Discord and Chrome to name some). When I installed the software I was able to get it to update but that was right after the install.

I also turned off Adguard as well and still no dice.

I also went into the F5 thing that you talked about and clear the update cache but still nothing.

Edit: I found the issue. I turned on "Ask before updating" thinking that would affect the updating the main program and not the virus def. I changed it back and it fixed now :)
