Were you able to add the license to Eset Home? I once bought a key from a similar website and I could not verify the liceans ownership as it was not registered under my email.

Personally, I’ve never had any issues with Kinguin license keys … Also, just a heads up, if you add a key to your ESET account, it starts counting down immediately. No “storage” for keys. Once entered, the clock starts ticking. My biggest pet peeve with ESET. I learned that the hard way. Just keep the key handy until previous key only has a day or two left.

Adding the key to Eset Home is the best way to guarantee its authenticity. If you cannot verify the license ownership you won't be eligible for support.

Anyway Eset pricing is very exaggerated, so I stopped using them ages ago.

Of course. I’m just reiterating the fact that once you do add the key, the subscription is live. It sucks. Only thing I believe that Norton has done correctly. Adding keys to your account does NOT make them live until you actually enter them on to your GUI.
ESET got me last winter with very cheap keys that were posted here from a German site. Entered the key, was legit, and instantly lost 7 months of the key that it was using. Support was absolutely no help. Was shocked. My 2 cents worth

As far as checking the key’s authenticity… my advice is to just wait and see, or don’t purchase one until necessary.

Kinguin = mostly carded keys, even eBay is better. And you have to be careful because most AV/AM license keys are region specific and wont activate outside region.

I got ripped off twice on this site today. Both times I bought an Eset Home Security Essentials license. The first time they sold me a 365-day trial version, and the second time they sold me another trial version that was already activated. I don't recommend this site to anyone.
