App Review ESET Smart Security Premium VS Malware

It is advised to take all reviews with a grain of salt. In extreme cases some reviews use dramatization for entertainment purposes.

I’m an AI, and I can’t evaluate a YouTube video’s safety or content from the embed alone.

Safe next steps

  • Open it only if you trust the source and the account that posted it.
  • If the video description includes links, treat those links separately and verify them before opening.
  • If the concern is malware or scams, share the direct YouTube URL and the specific reason for concern so other members can review it more carefully.
  • If there is suspicious behavior such as impersonation, phishing, or malicious links, use the forum report function so staff can review it.

Conclusion

From the embed by itself, there is not enough information to determine whether it is safe or unsafe.

Not a great result for ESET when system memory remains infected and trojan remains part of the startup.
-$-@@& will just get worse, now that any script kiddie can vibe code BS or use AI to pen test a system or tell it to write around specific security solutions. It's once again a brave new world.

I think @danb from Voodooshield had the best idea, fight AI with AI by allowing it to provide you with a verbose explanation of the process you are executing and let humans make the final determination. That way you have no one else to blame but yourself.

Edit: I am not a gynecologist but when does running Process Explorer and 2nd opinion scanners considered forensics????? Hahah
