Some firefox users might experience this error whenever they try to load a HTTPS website after either updating ESET/Installing ESET.

This is a known bug from years ago, dating back to at least 2017.

To resolve this close Firefox
Open ESET
Go to Setup
Click on Advanced Setup
Click on Web and Email
Click on SSL/TLS
Disable the first option: "Enable SSL/TLS Protocol Filtering"
Apply
Click on Web and Email again
Click on SSL/TLS again
Enable the first option: "Enable SSL/TLS Protocol Filtering"

This should now fix the issue.

As far as I'm concerned, latest version don't have this issue. Besides if anyone wants to keep using SSL scanning for other apps except Firefox then they can simply set it to ignore Firefox instead of turning off the whole SSL protection.

Ok it's back again then for some users. ESET is the AV which has the most issue with Firefox and this problem just keeps coming back.
On the bright side, turning off SSL protection in any AV makes browsing faster as well as less CPU usage. So anyway, helpful post for those who are having issues.
