I used to use Tab Mix Plus to set where a new link opens. I hate having it replace the current page or open on the end of the browser. I want a new link to open in a tab immediately to the right of the current tab, as Tab Mix Plus allowed for one to make the default setting. I know Edge browser makes no provision for allowing one to control this, and I think that may be true of most Chromium browsers. I have looked in the Chrome Web Store and so far been unable to come up with a tab manager that enables this configuration. There are so many tab managers there that do roughly the same things that it is too time-consuming to go through them.
