The FileHippo App Manager will scan your computer for installed software, check the versions and then send this information to FileHippo.com to see if there are any newer releases. These are then neatly displayed in your browser for you to download. Please note that not all programs are supported.

The client is FREE, just over 400kb to download and only takes seconds to run! In fact on our test machines the process is complete in under 2 seconds!

The FileHippo App Manager works on any Windows PC running Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2003 or 2000. It requires that the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0.

@software182 Safe to download and use, however, some webpages on FileHippo.com support the Ad-sponsored installers. Make sure to download directly, not the green button (ie. Firefox).

Tried Filehippo's but SuMo is a far better software, and has many software's in it's catalog and is correct most of the time Filehippo already has limitations in it's catalog on it's site.

Note: Download only the portable zipped version, all other versions contain adware.

Its safe but considered as ad supported type because some apps were bundled by their own app manager asking to install stuffs that may not include.

Note: Download only the portable zipped version, all other versions contain adware.

Sumo is too buggy, and slow over responsiveness. Most of the applications notify their updates, but only some need FHUC help

Its Just a PUP. Its not a virus or malware. It might consist of few adware but u must be aware of unchecking the offers that they offer u.
For Convenient installation without adware i recommend Unchecky which detects almost all adware during the installation of any application to your computer,.
