& in case of security, you may vaguely install some popular add-ons. but tbh, you have to be much more active in that genre & even after that you won't be really secure. Every day is a new day, you may remain safe for a while but if you are a net surfer trust me you will come across malware/virus/adware/trojan.script. But obviously whether you will get infected or not depends upon how promptly you take d apt measures.

Extensions give graphic presentation and also more features than browser tweaks

If your browser is crawling then use the browser tweaks otherwise use the extensions

You can add Coin Miner lists to an Adblocker.

uBlock Origin is a solid content blocker with very good memory management. It's dependent on the quality of lists used. It's the only extension I use on Edge, but again, I'm not focused on privacy.
