Do you have a suggestion? Preferably easy & fast to use.HitManPro uses the engine of Kaspersky, but only for executables, not for the rest of malware files such as scripts, jar files, office docs, etc... so a complement engine would be welcome...
Last option I can think of would be Trend Micro HouseCall. Used it for a long time.EEK is not necessary in a Bitdefender system. Eset Online Scanner is a good choice as it's rich in both malware and PUP detection. The downside is relatively slow scanning speed.
So, adding AdwCleaner to HitmanPro and Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool would be enough?I use it also in Hub tests, but sometimes tends to have some false positives, because it usually "flags as malware" the unknown files...
AdwCleaner is great for PUP/PUA/Adware... and other threats...
I agree but because of one of the point you made here I think it's worth doing it on a Bitdefender system since we can use other adware specialist like AdwCleaner and also EOS which is one of the best at PUP detections.I guess EEK adds a layer of PUP/PUA/Adware detection that BD robably does not have...
EEK for example, but in every update seems a full database is downloaded and then later applied and this process is not fast
Basically three good second opinions can be norton power eraser(this one has very high false positives hit man can be a lower fp alternative ) , kaspersky virus removal tool and adwcleanerI agree but because of one of the point you made here I think it's worth doing it on a Bitdefender system since we can use other adware specialist like AdwCleaner and also EOS which is one of the best at PUP detections.
Could you link your updated setup to your profile? You still have your 2020 config shown to the public. Not much change, but here it is.
It's in your account details.Hi,@SecureKongo, I would very much like to do that, I just dont know how, could you please tell me?
Just copy the link of your security config post and paste it in the field called "Computer Security Configuration" in your account details settings. You still got the 2020 config in thereHi,@SecureKongo, I would very much like to do that, I just dont know how, could you please tell me?
