Beta Release First Look at Hawk Eye Backup

If I'm not mistaken, there was security software in the beta version as well. Can we use and download it?
Hello.

Shortly after the backup, SOS (Second Opinion Scanner) will be released. That one includes scanning and Security Boost module with PUP detection.

The Security software will be released after and will also include the backup.

Nice Combo!

BTW, is this portable or requires installation?
It has a service and Windows Explorer context menu handlers, it requires installation.

The memory usage from the service is <7mb
Tray agent:
On idle: 38 mb
Notification displayed: 44 mb
Right click tray menu displayed: 41 mb
Time to go back to idle (resource cleanup): ~1 min

The CPU usage from the service seems to be periodic 0.2% CPU. This includes new files, creative apps, full screen apps, silent mode, on-battery and Windows DND detection.
Main UI memory fluctuates between 60-200 mb with very low CPU usage (usually around 5-7% on animations) and GPU usage of 5-10%.

Size on disk: <80 mb
Number of registry keys written: <10

This software does not use WebView/CEF/Electron or QT WebEngine anywhere throughout the UI.

The CPU metrics have been taken on a laptop that isn’t really a powerhouse.
