I don't understand how it's supposed to prevent bundling it with adware...

Well without the key the software would be worthless, would it not be? No key no install.
Sure they can still bundle the setup itself, but that would make the program without key worthless. But the serial key is just 1 out of 7 steps, Anyway i did not say it would prevent, i said it would stop some.

Update: 3/26 2015

CCSU Guard 2015 will receive a whole set of updates, and a own dedicated engine that allows for deeper searching and data gathering.
Obviously you all have noticed that it has been very silent the past weeks, and this is due to the fact that we are working on 3 programs at the same time.
Our development team currently is making such enormous progress that i can honestly say that when the 3 sets of updates are applied the program will be finally fully developed and ready for mass use.

Hello Robin,

Regarding your question, CCSU is NOT a replacement for your antivirus and i would recommend keeping your current KIS installation.
CCSU is specially made with "Digital forensic intrusion analysis" in mind. And as such its "after" the event software.
CCSU comes into play when a intrusion already did take place, and it has been made to gather all possible information in order to create a digital roadmap about the event. In short it gathers evidence and technical data.
So it does have ZERO/limited malware and spyware detection, in fact it has none however due to a trained eye lots of malware infections can be found by sifting trough the very extensive logs. Long story short CCSU is NOT a antimalware / virus software.

So please stick with KIS as KIS is great.

FMA Intel-Secure™ forensics & intrusion analysis software (FMAIS) is a highly advanced digital forensic investigation and analysis tool.

FMA Intel-Secure is proud to announce our new massive update package of CCSU Guard.

Fixes:
Major UI fix (Re-size and scaling bug has been fixed)
Major performance tweaks.
Removed serial registration system.
Fixed installation pre-admin level check.
**Added VM detection.
42 Various program and process handling errors.

Upgrades:
Totally new overhauled setup (Yes its now in FMA colors.
PPA engine has been updated to version 10a. (Added new advanced algorithms and updated PPA validation process)
System Policy engine has been tweaked to handle more requests.
Group Policy engine has been made more strict and much more capable.
MCB Analysis will now validate PPA results and cross reference dependencies.
Driver validation engine has now been updated.

Additionally there are over 1000 tiny tweaks and changes to the forensic capabilities of our program and its sub-processes.

Obviously there is a premium version of my program but this version is only distributed by our partners and direct to our clients.
This particular version has none of the industrial options as they just do not fit on a home computer.
Because some options present on the industrial version are pure for law enforcement and forensic purposes and would only do harm in home user hands if used improperly. Other then that this is the fully functioning version with no restrictions.
And i challenge everyone to test it, because its that good.

Hold on, @Moose who has said anything about detection and cleaning abilities? what makes you think its a antivirus?
It does have the option to add additional modules to it, and one of them would be our AM Engine but basically its a separate program as CCSU guard has no AV,AS,AM detection capabilities other then showing malware within the logs (A user or expert can examine the logs and find malware by hand (aka forensic analysis)
That said the program has already build in support for our other products and while they are all separate they can be put together like lego blocks and work as one. That being said our AM engine is our CBAD engine (which has been renamed to EYE) however the CBAD concept (Code Behavior Anomaly Detection) has already been proven here on MT by the many many user tests and reviews. We just did upgrade it and made it better call it CBAD V2 lmao. Anyway most users here will tell you that CBAD detection is on par with the big names and its speed and resource usage is stellar.

Does it run with other security software? Yes 100% till date there has not been a single report about problems with other security software other then some false positive by AV companies due to reputation based signatures. (New programs always get flagged by at least 2 or 3 AV engines specially on sites like Virus Total)

In regards to your final question, what makes it better then other security software?
I can be very short about that: I never said it was better then other software i leave that up for the clients to decide.
However it does use technology which is patent pending and not a single program in the world uses anything like we have in CCSU Guard.
Tests here on MT done by @Umbra Polaris and some others have proven beyond the reasonable doubt that CCSU cannot be compared to traditional tools yet it does a better job specially the accuracy and the information gathering & logging . This is not me saying it this is publicly being acknowledged by most here on MT that did use the program.

On a personal note it feels wrong to praise my own product but i will say that the logbooks and the information provided is unique and will blow your mind as even the most computer savvy users here where like WTF... this is great..

The program needs to be installed YET ones installed you can copy the FMA folder to a USB drive and move it to another PC, and the copy it back to the C drive and you can use it.
However it has not been made for portable use, in-fact it might produce less accurate results, but as i said it can be done.

Update 10.11

Hello everyone,

As you can see things are going well and today we are launching update 10.11 so whats new?
Well we have added the following things:

1: Realtime tray monitor (Has build in support for future upgrades).
2: A collection of tools that are VERY useful for repairing windows, diagnostic's and forensic tasks.
3: Update function which will update the program (manually)
4: We fixed another load of small UI bugs and we fixed a bunch of process errors.
5: We added support for future "sub" programs and we added support to merge third party programs into our program.
6: Added & modified 16 new sub functions to our engines.
In short our program is slowly becoming a forensic swiss army knife which is good.

Today we will also launch our program on sites like Download.com (CNET) and many others so if you have suggestions where you would like our software to be uploaded please let us know.
There is just so much happening at this point that it would be to much to list, but things are going in the right direction at lighting speed.
That being said i request some video and written reviews on Windows 7 Prof/Ultimate or Enterprise (32 and 64bit)
* Please tell us when you are going to do a review.
Test our program, work with our program, review our program and help us make it better en help us grow.
