Folder Icon Set

hey i have created some folder icons does any one now how use them with windows.

next time you create start with a square dimension like 500 x 500.

Using IcoFx
Run it sandboxed because it's a limited trial

File | New | New Icon

Image | Import Image | Select your file

Save

Using the icon

Right click on a folder | Properties
Customize | Choose Picture...
Ok

Voila

i am making some new icons.

is there any software that can change all the default folder icons with my folder icons on my pc with single click.

Folder Marker but the free version is limited to a few icons. There are other apps that do that but I can't recall the names.

By the way, you can create an icon library (*.icl) instead of saving an icon one by one

If an icon creator you are using have an option to save a group of icons into a library, then you can create one.

I've used this one years ago, got it from Giveawayoftheday.

Choose Picture... is for thumbnail view. I do that with Album Covers if you want to change the icon itself select Change Icon...
