Open MalwareTips in Safari and tap Share. You may need to open the Page Menu first.
Choose Add to Home Screen. If it is not listed, use Edit Actions to add it.
Keep Open as Web App enabled if shown, then tap Add.
Android
Open MalwareTips in Chrome or another browser that supports app installation.
Open the browser menu and look for Install app, Install and create shortcut, or Add to Home screen.
Choose Install and confirm. Wording varies by browser.
Desktop
Chrome: use the install icon in the address bar, or the menu under Cast, save and share.
Edge: open the menu, then More tools, Apps and Install this site as an app.
Safari on Mac: choose Share or File, then Add to Dock. Firefox on Windows: look for the web apps button in the address bar.
If you cannot find an install option, update your browser or use its bookmark option to keep MalwareTips close.
Keep up with your conversations
After installation, open the app and sign in. Enable push notifications in Preferences if you want alerts. On iPhone and iPad, push requires a Home Screen web app and iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later.

Matroska seeking/chapters fixes:
Fixed seeking accuracy regression introduced in 2.24.
Verifier no longer complains about decoded vs reported duration mismatch on affected files (did in pre-2.24).
Fixed a bug causing various window positions not to be restored if too close to screen edges.
Suppressed flushing of pending visualization data when only running visualization momentarily disappears, fixes visualization going blank when resizing window with just one visualization running.
Fixed issues with implicit resampling (WASAPI shared) vs low latency in smooth seeking mode.
When doing both implicit resampling and channel remapping, do it in order that costs less CPU (resample then upmix, or downmix then resample).
Console now sanitizes bad UTF-8 in received text instead of going off the rails.

Converter: Fixed a bug causing int32 stream to be sent to encoders that don't recognize it if source is float64.

Resampler technology updates
New resamplers: ARDFTSRC and Speex, replacing SSRC and libretro from previous versions. New resamplers provide better quality at comparable speeds / better speeds at comparable quality.
Cleaned up resampler settings, removed pointless "exclude rates" checkboxes, added explicit hints about formatting.
Made resampler priority setting accept short names of resamplers, e.g. "speex;ardftsrc".
Playback & file format handling changes
Added support for decoding TrueHD & MLP streams in Matroska.

No longer writes Nero tags by default for single chapter files, only for multi chapter where other tagging formats can't store per track tags.
