For Gaming PC: AVG, Kaspersky or Bitdefender?

Hello all sorry if this has been already discussed a 100 times.

I need some advice, here is the basis. I have a gaming pc that strictly game on, I will browse the net but not often.

I am currently running MBAM pro, and Webroot. Webroot is almost up and i am looking to jump ship. There are some deals on newegg right now for Kaspersky, AVG, and bitdefender. Wondering if any of those are suitable replacements.

Now I have had problems in the past with Panda, and Avira with games. I am not wanting to go down that path again. Plus with all the other garbage that comes with avira ill pass (i just need av).

Any help would be appreciated.

Kaspersky free is a good option imo.
I use it on my second PC without any problems, but honestly I don't know about compatibility problems with Malwarebytes Pro and gaming slowdowns, I hope not.

I won't use any AV for gaming, ex-hardcore gamer here, I used to use a dedicated only-gaming system (no browsing, no softs except games) protected only via shadow defender set at boot, so every time my system is loaded clean.

I was debating just going "naked" as i am not really that worried about getting something malicious.

If you can dual-boot, just make one for gaming, install few softs needed (like teamspeak, if you play in team).
Then a backup.

FWIW: I know a group of hardcore online gamers that all use Avast Free on dedicated PCs. They have no issues. No experience with it and I'm not a gamer.

Avast is realy good for gaming.Propably one of the best

gaming system -> eset nod32 or norton basic antivirus or panda dome advanced. they are light without any brakes.

I have a gaming system too ( i5 8600k @4,5 GHz, 16 GB RAM 3000, GTX 1080) and i have the best experience with eset nod32

Yes, because of hardened mode. I just like to go with AVG instead if i would have to...better ui

But due cloud avast/avg probably lightest of these three

Would take Kaspersky any day, extremely light for me.

Even on a laptop from 2004 it has no performance hit, in terms of gaming I had it on my desktop and didn't affect performance in anyway.
