FortClient WebFiltering

I am using FortiClient Free AV and so far so good. However, I would like to set up the Web Filtering to just filter any phishing or malicious downloads as I browse, as opposed to blocking specific web site types.

Does anyone know how to make these settings?

To filter only malicious/phishing type of websites the setup is counter intuitive but I will explain it.

1) Install Forticlient with the AV and Web Filter modules.
2) Once installed go to the web filter tab and click the gear. Elevate the client.
3) DISABLE Web Filtration.

While this will show web filtration is disabled, the filtration of malicious/phishing pages is still ON but is under the Antivirus Module at this point. The web filtration tab itself is really there to enable/disable/control filtration for porn and other stuff. The malicious stuff is filtered under the antivirus tab as long as you elected to install Web Filtration Module.

I see it now under Av, Block Malicious Websites under Real Time Protection enabled.
I do have the site categories disabled so I assume it means that I did install the Web Filtration Module.

Correct. If the Web Protection wasn't installed then malicious website category wouldn't be shown. By the way, Fortinet/Forticlient is legendary for how effective it's web filtration categories are.
