Be aware that DNS can block the ad server connections but not the frames the ads use. For that you'll need some time on system-proxy-like filtering.
Anything other than a good extension for ad-blocking is not reliable.Be aware that DNS can block the ad server connections but not the frames the ads use. For that you'll need some time on system-proxy-like filtering.
This Google's agenda only against AdGuard is not accurate. AFAIK, EasyList filter itself doesn't contain any aggressive filters to block all anti-adblocking popups. YouTube and other anti-adblockings are mostly handled by uBO's own filter in uBO and AdGuard's own filters in AdGuard Base and AdGuard Annoyances filters. I haven't faced any issue using AdGuard products on YouTube including DNS. They usually fix quickly if YouTube change something on their end.No. Google specifically causes Adguard filters to lag up to the point where they prompt you to disable your adblocker. If you use Easylist by itself it doesn't happen. I've tried every combination and narrowed it down to if I disable all of Adguards filters, Google/YouTube leaves me alone. It's clear they have a way to recognize which filter lists are being used. They also banned Adguard from the Google TV store, their agenda is clearly targeted.
Efficiently regarding blocking malicious content or blocking ads?Do DNS service filter lists, such as those in NextDNS, function efficiently, given that not all, unlike AdGuard's DNS filter list, are fully DNS-compatible?

Tried NextDNS free for a day; efficiency is similar to ControlD and Adguard dns free tier; I do not visit too many websites, so cannot depend on my reiews.Blocking ads.
I test dns servers both by subjective feeling of website response and by nslookup; the fasted in my region is Quad9, but I prefer one which block ads in addition to malware as I am not using ad-blocker in my phone browser, only in my PC one.Try programs like DNS Jumper and sites like dnscheck.tools. Try one server and look at the resolve time, etc. If it's too slow for you, then try others.
Check on this website whether you're getting connected to the nearest best performing server. You have to set NextDNS as your DNS first.Tried NextDNS free for a day; efficiency is similar to ControlD and Adguard dns free tier; I do not visit too many websites, so cannot depend on my reiews.
I felt website response a little bit delayed, so I reverted by to ControlD.

I use ControlD filter for malware and ads; never faced false positive.Doesn't look like you have NextDNS set as your DNS.
But anyway, looks like you have only one server with pretty low ping which is not even regarded as ultralow or anycast.
If ControlD is working fine for you then you can keep using that. ControlD also let users use filters like Hagezi as their DNS which can be very helpful for users who face false positives with default free ControlD.
My priority is security; do not mind privacy breach if not jeopardizing security.Users whose priorities are privacy and fine-grained control are using providers like NextDNS
