E-commerce giant Amazon on 28 October said that it is laying off 14,000 employees as it seeks to reduce bureaucracy and increase investment in artificial intelligence (AI), according to reports.

Overall, amid news of layoffs at multiple tech companies, at least 81,445 jobs have been directly impacted due to AI-led restructuring.

That's a tough blow for the tech industry—Amazon's move seems like part of a broader trend where companies are pivoting hard into AI to stay competitive, but it's coming at the cost of real jobs. I've seen similar stories from Meta, Google, and others; it's wild how quickly AI is reshaping everything. Hopefully, this leads to more innovation without leaving too many folks behind. What's your take on how AI might change the job market in security and IT roles specifically?

AI is a great invention, but it's current IQ is comparable to 7 years old. It is basically copy/paste/create, it lacks a basic logic and emotion.
The problem is not AI itself, but people, who rely on it 100%. AI can lie, but it does not consider it as a lie, but an alternative solution.

Like Bot on this forum suggested a firewall rule, which makes sense, but it is not applicable/valid. Reject instead of Block. The devil (AI) is hidden in details. 🤫
  1. Firewall Tweaks for Faster Failover: Your existing UDP block is great, but add a reject rule instead of block for quicker timeouts: netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="Reject UDP 53" dir=out action=reject protocol=UDP remoteport=53. This sends an ICMP reject, failing probes instantly vs. waiting for timeout.
